I am confused, I have been in a relationship for almost 8 years, however, someone from the past came into the picture. He has been calling me for the past five months and now I don't know what to do. Can You help me?

The Long Term Relationship Dilemma.

I do know being in a relationship with someone for a long time could easily take some of the excitement a new lover or ex boyfriend might bring to you, so it is always easier to let ourselves been seduced by new promises. I do understand you might have a great connection with your ex but you need to take everything into consideration before letting things escalate to fast too quick. .

I do recommend keeping any unfinished business with exes out of the equation if you already have a good guy at home. Do you think it is really worth the risk ? Are you willing to leave your current relationship to this other person? If your situation with your guy its not working of haven't been working for a long time then take some time for yourself BUT don't jump from A to B. You might end up losing both.

If you are clear with him that you are going to honor your relationship and he sees you being serious and really commit to your guy. He will understand you and walk out of your life, however, if he does sees a tinny opportunity that you might let him in, that you might invite him to seduce you. he will definitely take the chance. You have complete control on how to play your cards so be smart.
